It's only the first day of OT posting... Wad can i say? Hmmm, saw a caesarean section done. That's the best operation i've seen so far. Quite interesting. The boring part is when the surgeon is suturing.

HEADACHE!!! where is our lecturer? Who, we oso dunno. Even went to the wrong place for our posting. Who says NYP is good? Only NYPCO makes me look forward to life in NYP. What's wrong with this sch? .....

TML IS FRIDAY!!!!! YEA! Get out of the freaking cold place and go into another freezer. Haiz... Like air con no need money. The poor elderly in the emergency dept shivering lor. Finally, another attachment is done. Kinda prefer the ward setting, more stable n predictable.

anyway, weekend is near once again. Life is getting kinda bored. The way we lived to look forward to the weekend. Met some interesting patients today. Had one who met a road traffic accident, n i did dressing for this guy. The number of gauze i had to put on him was more than 10. All the micropore, bandage, gauze and jelonet dressing. Kinda expensive. wonder how much he has to pay. BE CAREFUL WHEN ON THE ROAD!!! Prevention is the best... The dressing i did for him was REALLY UGLY, the way i paste the micropore, etc etc. HIDEOUS. I hope when he goes up to the ward, he wouldn't say a student nurse did that. N he noes my name... *faints* Better not tell any NYP lecturer too.

Wonder which ward i'm going to for PRCP. Hopefully, not A&E. Chances of that is low... anyway,

A&E is freaking COLD!!! more like freezing. My fingers are numb. Thanks to the sun God created, i can defrost 3 more days there... Brain freeze. Didn't really noe wad to do today. Wad does the SISTER expect us, STUDENTS to do? RESUS? not yet a staff... I love para, take every 30 mins. That's prob the most enjoyable thing. Haiz... Nxt wk at OT. another freezing area. I love the sun!

Shall go for CO tml. I missed it!!! 24 more hrs. Practice, practice, practice! Performance on 9 Dec. Do come ppl!!! =)

The 3 weeks of attachment @ the geron ward has ended. So, tml i'll be going to the emergency area. I'm not sure whether i'll miss the ward or not, since that was a place with both gd n bad moments.

Anyway, i'm glad today is a SUNDAY!!! time to do some retail therapy! n oso eating! heading down to far east this afternoon with my family.

Watching "Mean girl Ah chu" lately. A new taiwan drama, not bad. I think acting is really interesting. U get to learn, and experience many things, but sometimes when u dun act as well as u're supposed to, u get suan. N u hv to deal with fans, those hu dislike u, n the media. It's kinda hard to survive that career isn't it? I find that whatever you're working as, its tough. So, i dun really wana work. but... FAT HOPE!

Focus on SERVING! i miss watching movies... n buying cds. BORED... more like unwilling to do anything. Just borrowed 5 bks yesterday. Very happy cos i managed to get my hands on J.D. Robb new bk. A lil sad cos when i think about it, i dunno how i'm going to read finish all the books before due date. I miss CO...

I LOVE GOD!!!

Today, i'm going to blog about my shoes... The shoes that HAD accompany me since Yr 1. It has been with me through both BAD times n Good times, in AH and NUH. Didn't really like the design though. Felt bad for these shoes, for the way i've treated them, locking and unlocking wheels.

New shoes were bought. $50... from BATA. Heart pain ah! the most expensive shoes i probably have. Excluding sport shoes. looks quite nice. after wearing it, it doesn't hurt much for a new pair of shoes, but still have pain la.

To conclude for this post on my nursing shoes: I have to make this pair last for more than 3 yrs so that i will not "lose out". somehow, this doesn't seem likely.

Sidetracked: i enjoy the attachment this wk, cos once you get used to how the ward works, things work out better for you. N i get to make new friends, talk to different patients and staff. Quite enjoyable when its not stressful, and today was the BEST!!!! =) i wrote my report at 4pm, earliest i've done so far. and tml is SATURDAY!!! holler!!!! everybody was kinda high, and happy. GREAT DAY!
